Fellowship Communi-Tea
Through Fellowshipping with the members of our church, we all know that some wonderful friendships can be made. It is a joy to meet with others who share our beliefs, our goals and our love of the Lord. Connections can be made that become lasting friendships that add so much to our spiritual life and our personal relationships. But, creating the opportunities that allow new members (or shy long time members) to feel welcome, relaxed and included in a church community is always s a challenge. For me, this has always been made easier by inviting the ladies to tea- and then making sure every single person in attendance knows that their presence is recognized and appreciated.
I’ve learned from experience that people want to be invited into the community of their church but they often don’t know how to cross what seems to be an insurmountable barrier to making friends and feeling welcome. God wants us to welcome newcomers into His family- and most of us want to do so. I’d love to help you create a joyful welcoming activity for your members and potential members just waiting to be asked to be a part of your fun and exciting spiritual journey.
