Youth CommuniTea
It’s just a fact that teenagers do best when they have the Lord in their lives, and when they are part of a vibrant youth community of young people who share a common belief in the God, in service, and in having wholesome fun together. As parents, it is our privilege and responsibility to create a community that supports them, teaches them and provides a good example for them to follow. But to get their attention—it has to be fun and it has to be inclusive.
Let’s work together to make that happen for your youth groups and concentrate on all of the uniquely individual young people. It is well worth the effort to help them find a place where they WANT to be, where they feel welcome and respected, and where they can look forward to having a great time.
From leading youth groups, planning and leading youth activities at summer camp programs, guiding service group projects, advising clubs on both the high school and college level, and training them through leadership seminars, I have a lot of experience with young people. I love to get teens excited about making good choices that will make their lives better and happier and full of joy!
